Avoid using 90º gutter downpiping elbows
as they are prone to clogging


Look at the decayed tree litter I found in this double 90º elbow configuration on the right. I'm changing them out for the 45º elbow shown on the left. This is a much less restrictive configuration and should pass the junk. Avoid 90º turnouts at the bottom of the downpipe as well. Cut the downpipe up a litte higher and use a 45º turnout instead.
